The Microloan Programs provide financing for small, beginning, niche, and non-traditional farm operations. These loans support a range of agricultural activities, including direct marketing, organic production, hydroponic and aquaponic systems, and vertical farming. Microloans are available for both farm ownership and operating needs, allowing farmers to make down payments, build or improve farm structures, and purchase essential tools and equipment. The program is designed to help new and small-scale farmers access capital for critical farm development and operations.
